Refund policy

Return & Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned — such as perishable goods (food, flowers, plants), custom or personalized products, and personal care items (beauty products).
We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


International Customs, Duties, and Tariffs

Some countries charge import duties, taxes, or tariffs on incoming goods. These charges are set and collected by your local customs authority and are not controlled by Old Mate Designs.

It is the customer’s responsibility to check and pay any import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage, or clearance fees required in their country before delivery can be completed.

If you refuse to pay import duties or tariffs, and the parcel is returned to us or abandoned, we will treat this as a non-paid tariff return.
In this situation, we will refund 50% of the product value only.
Shipping, handling, and the 7% admin fee are not refundable.

If the parcel is destroyed or not returned to us by the carrier or customs, no refund can be provided.

By placing an international order, you agree that it is your responsibility to determine and pay any applicable import duties and tariffs, and that Old Mate Designs is not liable for these charges.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.
As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds

All refunds incur a 7% admin fee.

We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved.
If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
